Make A Difference Day Food Drive

Members of the Hilton Rotary, Hilton High School Interact Club and Hamlin Youth Group participiated in this year's Make a Difference Day by holding a food drive to support the Hilton Food Shelf.
On October 17th, bags and informational flyers were hung on door handles around the community.  Residents were asked to fill the bag provided with non-perishable food items to be picked up on Saturday, October 24th which was Make a Difference Day.  Donations were collected by these volunteers and brought to the CrossPointFreeMethodistChurch where they were unloaded, sorted, boxed and shelved for future use.  The response was terrific!  Thank you for the generous support of the Hilton Food Shelf.  Check out our Photo Journal for more pictures of this event.
