Hilton Rotary Volunteer Recognition 2009

On November 19th, the Hilton Rotary Club held a volunteer recognition dinner to thank all the people who have helped us throughout the year. Hilton Rotarians, non-Rotarians and several Rotarians from the Spencerport Rotary Club came together to enjoy a great meal and good fellowship. The Hilton Rotary Club invited all the people who have contributed their time and talents to make each of our events successful. Volunteers from our Fly-in Drive-in, from our Easter egg hunt, and from the Apple Fest attended the dinner and where personally thanked by each of the event chairs and the club President. Special presentations were made to Donna Curry and Helaine Donn by District Governor Mark Wyse and Hilton Rotary President Mike Postilli. Hilton Rotarian Donna Curry with recognized with a benefactor pin for her commitment to leave a portion of her estate to the Rotary Foundation. Helaine Donn, the outgoing advisor of the Hilton Interact Club was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow by the Hilton Rotary Club. The Hilton Rotary Club was proud to recognize Helaine for her many years of hard work and dedication to Interact. She is a true example of the Rotarian motto of "service above self."
