Dictionaries Delivered to Local Third Graders

There were many happy faces as third graders at Quest Elementary School received dictionaries from Hilton and Greece Rotarians.

Dictionaries were give to third graders in the Hilton Central School District on September 29th at Village Elementary School and on September 30th at the Quest and Northwood Elementary Schools. The Hilton Rotary Club in partnership with Greece Rotary and a grant from New York State have made a five year commitment to provide dictionaries to third graders. This is the third year of this commitment. This year included a special presenter and recipient, as Club President Mike Postilli was able to present his daughter with her dictionary. Proceeds from the Fireman's Carnival raffle fund this literacy project in our community. See Photo Journal for more pictures.
